Corporate Structure

Cascade is part of the Kitewood Group. The Kitewood Group is a substantial organisation with interests in market residential sales and rental development, urban and rural affordable housing, retirement homes, commercial development, mixed use schemes  and strategic land holdings.

Our core values are integrity, innovation and delivery. These values have been the real  building blocks of our business. We try to ensure that all who represent us are able to accept these basic principles.

Housing Quality /Eco Friendliness / Sustainability

Where Housing Corporation funding is used,  the units are constructed to the relevant quality. Currently this includes BREEAM level 3 or 4 and may include ‘Lifetime Homes’. All our schemes score well with Housing Quality Indicator testing.

Where alternative funding is used, there is always a will to equal or improve upon quality standards.

All materials are sourced locally where possible and carbon emissions are assessed for the major materials such as bricks, tiles, frames etc.  A reduced emissions rating is always chosen where there is not an overriding economic argument.

Sustainable locations are preferred,  close to public transport and nearby facilities such as shops and  schools. We try to ensure the schemes are mixed tenure to encourage social cohesion.

Innovation

Our business is constantly changing and evolving. What was desirable yesterday will probably not be tomorrow. We are lateral thinkers and constantly re-assess all aspects of our business model as changing standards, laws and preferences constantly affect it.

Procurement

Cascade uses local sub contractors to construct the scheme.

Employment

The Company always wishes to employ individuals with either specialist skills gained in this sector or people with drive and tenacity but lacking direct experience. We welcome all approaches.
