Cascade encourages the involvement of the local people and their representatives in every aspect of the decision making process to ensure that wherever possible, this support is forthcoming.  We seek the support of the district council as they influence the planning.  In the case of Healthcare facilities, we also involve the local PCT at the start of the project, in order to make sure that any scheme also meets their requirements, and their specifications, so that all available grants are fully utilised.   Where our client is a registered care company,or local GP’s, they are therefore a development partner, since they must influence design and cost to meet their exacting specification needs. Finally,we must seek the approval of the scheme funders, be they the local PCT or an alternative funding source where a grant is not readily attainable.
