Usually in consultation with the local community council,  Cascade and its consultants will create a scheme that meets both the housing need and the exacting design requirements of the district’s planning department.

Often suitable sites are contentious and a great deal of design time must be given over to the schemes aesthetics and layout whilst attempting to balance the obvious cost restrictions with this type of housing.

We endeavor to obtain the support of all parties before the planning application is submitted and this will include the planning department itself.This often requires many scheme amendments.

On occasions we find ourselves having to make an appeal against a planning refusal. This will only usually occur should the local political will to deliver the local needs housing be removed. We, however, for our part, try our utmost to avoid any such conflict by always attempting to agree solutions locally that are acceptable to all parties involved.
